ROBERT1 SANFORD died 1676. He married ANN ADAMS, daughter of JEREMY ADAMS and REBECCA GREENHILL. Child of ROBERT SANFORD and ANN ADAMS is: 2. i. MARY2 SANFORD, b. 1650. Generation No. 2 2. MARY2 SANFORD (ROBERT1) was born 1650. She married JOHN CAMP. Notes for JOHN CAMP: In Annals and Family Records of Winchester, Ct. by Boyd, pg. 19 .."John Camp's heirs had a 2 lb. interest, which is like manner was alloted to them in two detached strips of one rod wide and amile long, and a thrid of two rods wide and half a mile long." No mention of dates for this John Camp. Another John Camp is mentioned in" Historical Sketches of the Town of Milford, George Hare Ford, Press of the Tuttle, Morehouse and Taylor Co., New Haven, Ct. 1914. F 104 M7 F6"., pg.29. We can follow their movements. 1810 census: Christopher Perkins is listed in Goshen Ct., pg. 077 Other Perkins in Goshen at that time were Freedom Perkins, pg. 076, and Walker Perkins, pg. 077 1820 census: Frederick and Christopher Perkins are both listed in Litchfield, Litchfield Co. 1830 Census: Christopher Perkins is listed in Litchfield, Litchfield Co. Other Perkins listed in Litchfield are Charles and Harvey. There are Fredericks listed but they live in Lisbon and Windham...across the state. There is a large group of Perkins in the eastern part of Ct. and Rhode Island. 1850 Census: Christopher Perkins Jr. is listed as living in Goshen, Litchfield Co. Frederick Perkins is listed as living in Torrington, Ct., pg. 217 There is also a Charles L. Perkins listed in Litchfield, Litchfield Co. 1860 Census: Frederick Perkins is listed in Winchester, Litchfield Co., roll 81, pg. 30. There is no Christopher listed. 1870 Census: Frederick is listed, age 46, in Winchester, Litchfield Co., roll 106, pg. 551. Also listed in Winchester at that time is a Mrs. EA Perkins, 35 years old. Areas of future research: There is no death certificate for Frederick Perkins, on file at the town clerk's office of Winsted, Ct.
