He was born Aug 13, 1923 and died June 26, 1993. He married a Bernadine Jeanette Van Horn who was born on April 22 1907 and died Feb 1982. I once met a girl from Nova Scotia Canada who told that her family owned a Sanford book that listed these names and was able to trace the family all the way back. I have nothing before these dates. All I know is he lived in Central Square NY and I would like to find out more about his ancestry. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Warren, The most volumnous "Sanford Book" only has records to before 1911 (when it was printed.) You can probably get the next generation for your Warren H Sanford by locating either a birth or death certificate. These records might be obtained either from the town hall where he died, or (failing that) from the Social Security Administration. Click on the "SS-5 Letter" link in the right column of the SSDI record (see <ssdi.rootsweb.com>), for information on how to write for them. Once you have his parents, try this list again and one of us will look them up.
