Prince William Co., Virginia, d. Abt 1832 in Prince William Co., Virginia. He married (1) Kesia Britton d. Bef 1827. Their daughter Julia b. 2 Jul 1807. He married (2) Unknown and they had a daughter Lucy Sanford b. 1796 in Virginia, d. Bef 2 Jul 1827. Lucy Sanford and Julia are half-sisters. After Lucy died at age 31, Samuel married her younger sister when she was 20 and he was 30. In the 1810 Census, Thomas Sanford is shown as having Males: 2 children under 10; 1 child 16-16; 1 person 45 years upward; Females: 1 child 26-45; and 10 slaves.
