Born in Newark, raised in Union. My Dad's name was William James Sandford from Belleville., His Dad, George Wallace Sandford, his Dad, George F. Sandford, His Dad James Sandford & Mother Charlotte. Now the reason I'm writing is; I believe we're related to the Sandford's William Sandford & wife Sarah Wharton from Harrison, Hudson Co. NJ. They had a Son William Sandford born about 1691 and he married a wife named JANE last name unknown. I don't know if this helps but check out Harrison, Hudson Co. It goes back to before 1691.
