My g grandparents were Hezekiah Sanford and Dolly Jane Lathem. My grandparents were William Thomas Sanford and Lavada Woodward. My parents were Joseph Emory Sanford and Mary Azalee Quarles. This complete lineage, from Thomas/Elizabeth to me, was propagated in Gilmer County, Ga. I am looking for Thomas and Elizabeth's anscestry. I believe Thomas had three brothers, Asa, Thomas and James, but I have no further information on any of them. Would appreciate any information on Thomas' parents, etc. I believe Elizabeth's parents were Noel Hide/Hyde and Elizabeth Blackwell, but i have no info on them either. I believe Thomas and Elizabeth were from Pickens, S.C., not sure if they ever came to Georgia or not but my g grandfather Hezekiah came to Ga. around 1840. Can anyone help me out?
