Hi Richard, I have been searching for John Sanford, wife Letta, daughter Eliza Jane. She married Henry Myers and they lived in Town Of Porter, Niagara County, New York. Henry and Elia Jane live here , don't know about John and Letta. In the history I have it states Eliza Jane was born in Seneca, New York. I assumed (I know, assume nothing) it was the village of Seneca. Later I found that Seneca was in county of Ontario, N.Y. I still haven't found the Sanford family. Have you come across a John Sanford? I have seen the Gideon Sanford but can't say just where now. I willl check my papers as I usually keep my lists of family names jut in case the fit eventually.
