His mother was not married at the time and a friend gave me the name William Sanford as his biological father.He was born Edward Michael Marnell and as adopted at about 6 months old by his mother;s sister who was married to Charles Murray.I wonder if there might be a connection here. If this is helpful please let me know .I am anxious to find some information about the family.
