I have done an exhaustive search for the family of my GGGrandfather, Albert Sanford, in 1850, in Georgia. I BELIEVE that Albert was the son of Jesse Sanford, the long time Georgia State Representative from Habersham County, and the older brother of Benjamin Franklin. Jesse was married to Jane Bryson, and, according to a Family tree entry I found today, they had 8 children. The Tree entry lists some of the descendents of Benjamin Franklin, I have many of those from Albert, the oldest brother & 2d child. Let me know if this seems to match. Dave
