He was born June 26,1856 and died Jan 7, l939. His only brother who grew to manhood was E. L. Sanford - born Feb 19, l871 and died Oct 31, l952. Neither my grandfather John B. or Uncle Ed had any male heirs other than myself and my brother Henry. They were the children of Reuben & Sarah Lyons Sanford. J. B. was born near Gill's Mill in Rowan County, Ky. They had 5 sisters and they were married and live 'all over the place' Anything about them you want to know let me know.
