I can't seem to trace his line. Thomas Sanford born around 1780? married (unknown) children 1.John Sanford born in Ga or SC around 1815(Married a Matilda unknown born in GA or VA)He died when he was about 38. 2.Joseph Sanford(married a cooper) I don't know if Thomas had any more children. John Sanford and Matilda's Children(found in 1860 Kingston Census of Autauga County) 1. RACHEL 2. NANCY (married a Barton) 3. JOHN born about 1845 in AL(married a Margaret unknown) 4. MARTHA This family seems like a mystery.Is Thomas Sanford's father Jeremiah Sanford,son of a William Sanford?I have heard that my Sanford Line goes back to Westmoreland,VA,but I can't seem to find a connection.Any help would be a blessing.Thanks
