    1. Website Update
    2. SSanfordG
    3. Hello to Everyone, Just finished updating our website. There are now 8041 individuals and 1711 separate surname. I have a new format for the site which may prove a lot more efficient that the one before. It never ceases to amaze me how much the surnames are inter-mingled within families. For example I was entering a family of Samfords and right in the middle of the children were a couple of them who took on the name of Sanford. A whole family changed their names so as not to be associated with the father...Samford to Sanford and Sanford to Samford...this seemed to be quite common Good Searching Sandie

    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. Jesse Sanford was born about 1844 in SC, possibly Pickens County. He married Eliza A. Broom about 1869, again most likely in Pickens or Oconee Co., SC. In 1870 they are living in McMinn Co., TN with one child in the home, Burrell Sanford born about 1869, most likely in Oconee Co., SC. This is the last record I have of them. If you have mention of Jesse Sanford and his family in your database, I would love to hear from you. Kathleen Burnett .

    3. I want to extend to all my wish that all the Joys of the Season are their and their families. I want to share this with you. When I started my genealogy research I had no ancestral family that I was aware of. My parents have been gone for thirty or more years. I have six beautiful children and nine grandchildren. Altho they are the joy of my life there was something missing. Five years ago I became disabled and am on SSD. After working for 40 years it was quite a blow. I needed something to do to keep me feeling worthwhile. I want you all to know that each of you have contributed to helping me feel whole again. You have given me a purpose in life and a feeling of family and "belonging". I want to say "Thank you" and God Bless.. Love to each and every one of my "cousins" Sandie
