Hello, cousins, I found a webpage for the historical society of Albemarle Co, VA that you might be interest in as our ancestors at one time lived there. Also of interest was the Annual Spirit Walk on October 23rd & 24th. This walk takes you to one of the oldest cemeteries where Civil War soldiers are buried. It is called Maplewood Cemetery. I thought that if any of you were near by, maybe you could do alittle research on the tombstones for us. Also I sent an email to the historical society to see if they have any book or documentation on the public, private, and homestead cemeteries. The main Albemarle Co.
