    3. Den, I forgot to mention that Mary (wife of Nathan Sandage) is believed to be daughter of a Hugenenot from PA -- did I ever tell you this? He moved from PA (Lancaster Co I think was told me) with his family to VA and then on to Union Co, SC. Of course someone else believes her father to be another man. If we are of Huegenot herritage it is possible how they met, etc. Can't recall if I ever mentioned above but know I mentioned that I have been searching ALL states/countries and ALL spellings and sic spellings just trying to find our roots. Never have found the marriage of Nathan and Mary yet either. Again since her parents stopped in VA before SC it is possible this or PA is where they married. Thanks so much for the info on the 1st Earl of Sandwich -- someone else had said he had been a friend of Pepys or served under him, but never heard anymore of this until your article from encyclopedia. For those on the list -- Dean is a very distant cousin of mine who has bantered back and forth with me about our heritage; but this speculation and bantering often gives me more ideas to explore while trying to find PROOF on Mary's parentage and surname as well as PROOF of parentage of our Nathan Sandage/Sandridge/Savage/Sandidge and how he fits into the rest of the family. Although I have been told his parents name and that he was born either in Albemarle Co, VA or Spotsylvania Co I have NEVER been able to prove this. I have mentioned on this list previously who they say his parents are.
