Broderbund has been doing this for some time. I have their "Marriage bundle" The implication is that it is extensive and complete. Neither is the case. many of their discs are only l0% full of data and some are much less. The purchaser feels that if they purchase a CD set that has 6 CD's in it that it is a lot of data. In fact the Marriage bundle of l0 CD's appears to be data that would go on l or 2 CD's. I can understand a census that does not fill a disc but fail to understand a Census that is grossly incomplete. I believe we should publicize the deficiencies in the discs they sell and encourage them to notify the purchaser if the disc is either incomplete data or less than a full disc. especially when the deficiency is more than l0%. Not including their WFT series, I would guess that most of their discs are less than 80% full of data and average of their lnon-wft discs would be less than 80%. Maybe that would be a good project for someone like Dick Eastman to attempt to interview them on that subject. Charles Severs
