Was there a shipping list that we could check someplace? The source I had originally said that Col James and his son John landed in King and Queen County in 1650. But the internet has John not born until 1676. This seems right unless he became a parent as an older man. Did you know about the possibility of the Sandridge family in England descending down to the Spencer family and Princess Diana? I also have the Spencers linked through the Maupin family that I am descended from. Also from the Maupin family is a link to Colin Powell. OF COURSE, WE CAN ALL TRACE OUR FAMILYS BACK TO ADAM AND EVE IF WE TRY HARD ENOUGH. It gets more fascinating as it goes along. I still like what you said about folks asking about a large family reunion. The Maupin family has one in Williamsburg every Labor Day Weekend.
