    3. Info I had in my file I gathered from library - doesn't seem to be in my direct line but thought I'd share in case someone else out there can use it. State of Virginia, Albemarle County Deed Book 1764 - 1768 p. 374 "This indenture made on the () day of () in 176()between David Watts the Elder of the County of Albemarle of one part and William Watson of the same County of other part Witnesseth that said David Watts in consideration of said William Watsons marriage with his the sd David Watts Daughter doth give unto said William Watson & his heirs a parcel of land in Albemarle containing as he supposes about Two hundred acres of land & bounded beginning at a supposed line being a corner white oak & red oak on Gidion Carrs line, thence along Carrs line to a corner red oak between Carr & WILLIAM SANDAGE thence along SANDAGEs line to a corner red oak and white oak between Watts, William Hammock & SANDAGE thence along Hammocks line to the beginning. In presence of Thomas Carr, David Watts, John Walker, Abraham Wood at Albemarle April Court 1767. This Indecture was acknowledged by David Watts party thereto & ordered to be recorded." p 384-387. "This indenture made the twenty fifth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & sixty three between WILLIAM SANDIDGE of the Colony of Virginia and County of Albemarle & BETTY his wife of one part and John Lewis of the Colony & County aforesaid of other part Witnesseth that WILLIAM SANDIDGE & BETTY his wife for sum one hundred & thirty pounds current money of Virginia to them paid doth sell John Lewis his heirs all that parcel of land containing two hundred acres lying in County of Albemarle and is bounded beginning at a black oak in the line between John Lewis & Thomas Walker on running thence to a corner pine S & W to a corner black oak thence N & E to pointers thence N & W to pointers thence N & E to a pine thence S & E to the beginning.... Presence James Maury, WILLIAM SANDIDGE, BETTY SANDIDGE, Nicho. Meriwether, Jno Moore. At a Court held for Albemarle County the Nineth day of February 1764. This Indenture Memorandum & Receipt were acknowledged by WILLIAM SANDIDGE party thereto & ordered to be recorded. BETTY wife to the said WILLIAM Personally appeared in Court & being first privately examined voluntarily relinquished her Right of Dower conveyed by the said Indenture."
