The newer bible appears to cover the children of William Sandidge and Tamasin Higginbotham, 1786-1883. I'll be glad to post that data if anyone is interested. The record itself is a photocopy of a photostatic copy taken from the family bible, verified by various mavens of the DAR in 1945, presumably against the original. The older bible is a photocopy of pages that are illegible around the edges but have some interesting tidbits. Don't know if everyone has seen this data before, but if not, here it is. Most (maybe all) of the spelling errors are in the original. With the exception of one spelling error noted by [sic], all family names are spelled the "right" way in the original record; that is, "Sandidge". [Sorry, couldn't resist that] The pages are not necessarily in order, though data on pages is quoted below in order written. The order allows one to draw some logical conclusions about certian missing dates and names. The language in ( ) or [ ] is mine. [First page:] Austin Sandidge was Born [page crumbled] Sophia Sandidge was Born the 12 day of Decemb in the year of our Lord 1756 Larkin Sandidge was Born the 21 day of Novem in the year of Our Lord 1758 David Sandidge jur (?) was Born the 8 day of Janu in the year of Our Lord 1761 James Sandidge was Born the 13 day of November the year of Our Lord 1762.
