Hello, Cousins, How are you doing on your research? My is going slow but I did get to the Jones Memorial Library in Lynchburg, VA for a short visit. I found a correction on Mordecai's first wife. Mordecai B. Sandidge of Amherst married Phebe A. Turpin, daughter of Jeremiah D. Turpin on December 2, 1842. Source: The Lynchburg Virginian, December 26, 1842, p.3, c.3. P.A. Sandidge died December 27, 1857 at age of 35 from plurcy. Parents: J.D. and E. Turpin. Spouse: M.B. Sandidge I now wonder if Phebe's mother was Eugenia Ann Turpin. Rita
