Hello, everyone, I haven't talked to Mr. Sandige again but I was looking on my family tree and there is a Thomas Sandidge/Sandage/Sandige who married a Francis. Does anyone have proof of this Thomas who married Frances Chappell and his birth of 1691? Mr. Sandige had a Thomas also who married a Francis. Now if Thomas Sandidge/Sandige/ Sandage/Sanadge was born 1691, would he be mentioned about land in 1701? I don't have this book so don't know if Thomas was getting land or selling land or what? That would make Thomas 10 yrs old. Mr. Sandige had two brothers leaving Scotland around 1650 which would make Thomas in 1701 older than fifty. I also see what Jean McGee saw about Henry, son of Thomas & Francis Sandige, killed in the Civil War. I'll ask Mr. Sandige some of these things when I get a chance to talk to him. Remember he was getting this info from a great aunt who probably got it from stories handed down from her ancestors. My ancestors have said that William was of Swedish descent and married Elizabeth Taylor which we haven't proven and now think otherwise.
