I'm new to this list and need help. Can anyone tell me if Joseph Sandidge(1760-1826) of Louisa Co.son of James and Jane Shelton Sandidge was married to Mary Wright, Elizabeth Wright, Mary Shelton or Elizabeth Shelton, or are they all the same lady, such as Mary Elizabeth Shelton Wright? I've seen references that list her in all these combinations, and can't figure where the Wright came from unless she had been married before. If you can shed light on this I will be very grateful. Caution: I got this gedcom from Bill - caution - it has some errors (Reid vs Graves) - most of the other info on the John H. family we already have - there are no dates or places and no references in this gedcom, very scanty info - the Thomas Higginbotham said to be a brother to our John is just as scanty but worth a look - I wrote to Bill and made the Graves correction - and asked for references of his gf's material and request a copy be printed at kinkos, i would pay for - he wrote back he didnot have his gf's references. He did say in his first post that he is an amatuer geneaogist just beginning and that he would make the changes and others he found on our site and redo the gedcom. I copied this bible record from the bible in possession of Clarence Morin in Middletown, Calif. in 1965. At that time he told me he would send it to the California State Library in Sacramento before he died. He was elderly then. I do not know if it is there but hope to write and ask about it.
