Those Sandfords which i have verified as my ancestors are: Margaret Sandford b. abt 1776 Newark ,m Henry Stroub 1801 NYC< d.1865 NYC. Her father, Peregrine, the shoemaker, b.1757 Newark, d 1837 NYC. His brother, John Sandford , b abt 1751 NJ?, farmer in Newark, d 1826 Newark, 2nd wife abigail jolliman? johnson?
