Dear Karen and other list members, No apology is necessary. The person who sent the angry messages to the list has been removed, as she wished, and will not be returning. She sent me a personal note of apology. Apparently she did not understand the nature of a mailing list, in that a message posted goes to all of us subscribed, and she did not understand that the purpose of a mailing list. This list is for discussion of things pertaining to Samoan research in particular and genealogy research in general. I want each of you to know that the purpose of this list is a tool where we can join together and help each other find our ancestors. Ask questions, post ideas and information that you might find that will help in Samoan research, discuss customs and history. Also post your queries about who you are researching. The more active the list is with postings, the more help it will be -- I'm looking forward to learning more.
