Hi all! I have a question for you all! In "Entertaining Satan" (p. 20), John Demos claims that a deposition by Thomas Knowlton vs. Rachel Clinton was a witchcraft accusation that predated the events in 1692. Does anyone have any VR, probably for Ipswich, which could give me more info on this Thomas Knowlton? I have reason to believe that Demos mistranscribed Knowlton's age, and if so, the document may indeed be from the trials in 1692. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated!
