John Willard of Salem associated very closely with the two Willard brothers and their sons, and their daughters, at times lived in the same towns, fled to one of them from Salem. He shared the Willard addiction to land speculation, which the Salem villagers thought was Satanic. It ran counter to accepted norms about land at that time. He also had psychotic episodes. All very pertinent to my efforts to trace my family history of manic depression. Clearly he was closely related to the Willard brothers, but noone know s how.
