"Old Planters of Beverly".......the first group who settled in Salem in 1626...and subsequently,Beverly which was known as the "Bass River Side of Salem". To answer your question whether Conant was involved in the 1692, witchcraft hysteria....no....he died in 1672 at age 80 years.
