Karlsen, that mentions Rachel Vinson as a person imprisoned in 1692 for witchcraft. It's in a chapter titled, "The Economic Basis of Witchcraft." Karlsen discusses the fact that Rachel became the sole beneficiary of her husband's estate on his death, because all of his sons had died before his own passing.
