Greene that appeared in the October 1982 issue of The American Genealogist Hannah Martin was the daughter of George Martin and Hannah(____) Martin. Pioneers of Massachusetts by Charles H. Pope states Hannah's birth date as Feb 1, 1643. It further states that George and Susannah were married Aug 11, 1646. Old Families of Salisbury and Amesbury also shows Hannah as the daughter of George Martin and his first wife, Hannah. The History of Amesbury by Joseph Merrill also shows Hannah as the child of George Martin's first marriage. I would be interested to know of the source for George Martin's first wife's last name of Ramsey. This is the first reference I've ever seen that shows a last name for her.
