    1. [SALEM-WITCH-L] An accurate book available? These are on www.half.com
    2. There are many books on the trials. For a beginning, and relatively easily found, both Norton's _In The Devil's Snare_ and Boyer & Nissenbaum's _Salem Possessed_ have definite viewpoints, but there is good information to be had from them. The works of Frances Hill (_The SWT Reader_, IIRC) and Marilynne Roach's _The Salem Witch Trials: A Day-by-day Chronicale of a Community under seige_ also seem to have good information, although I have nto read either carefully enough yet to comment on any bias.
