Hi George and all, I don't think they got anything "mixed up", I don't believe they worried about representing ANYTHING factually!! In this movie, John Proctor was hanged along side Rebecca Nurse, and he was the only man in that group; according to the RECORDS, John was hanged a month after Rebecca, and Martha Carrier was the only women in that group of five who were hanged on August 19th. I think they took "artistic license" to a new level with this one!!!
