Hello to all! My name is Crys Hodgens and I am new to the list. I have been looking to join a list to discuss and learn more information about the Salem Trials. I have had a fascination about the events of 1692 for five years now. I took a course in college in which I had to study a part of American history for 10 weeks and then write a 10-page paper on what my research showed. I chose the witch trials because it is a subject you see spoofed often, but I did not know much about it. Now I cannot seem to learn enough. I spent four days in Salem over the summer - and loved every minute of it. I loved to share my knowledge of the trials and colonial culture with my 11th grade English students and anyone else who will listen. I am excited about being a member of this list and cannot wait to learn more from those of you who are direct descendants. I would like to write a book one day on this topic. Have a great day! Crys
