It is almost impossible to get public money to fund a private restoration, but before giving up, I'd try: 1. The National Trust for Historic Preservation based in Washington, DC 2. The state of Massachusetts -- not just Housing, but I'd try Tourism, too 3. The county and/or city, again trying Tourism as well as Housing Hope that one of these pans out!
