The Wardwell family is mentioned in most books, but I see you are right: I don't see any that gives them a lot of attention. > I was also wondering if where the witch trials took place is actually > located in the Salem of today The location of various episodes can be confusing. What we have the most extensive records of are the examinations of the accused in Salem Village -- the present-day town of Danvers -- examinations which took place most frequently in the meeting house and Ingersoll's tavern. Salem Town was the Essex County seat, which is more likely where the trials took place. > is Andover still a separate town? There are actually two towns now -- Andover and North Andover. The outbreak of accusations in 1692 "Andover" took place in what is now North Andover. --Margo
