Seems to me I recall either Paul Boyer or Stephen Nissenbaum was the "consultant" on Three Sovereigns for Sarah, and that he was consulted BEFORE, but had no editorial input after the fact, and may not have been entirely happy with the end product. That is probably what went on with this miniseries and Frances Hill. (Just because you hire a consultant doesn't mean you do what they suggest!) It seems like they wanted to use her name for a sheen of authority -- but if I were in that position, I would want to demand a preview before my name went on *anything* presented to the public!
