Have the transcripts of the various trials ever been published or transcribed online? I am descended from Samuel and Provided (Southwick) Gaskill who, I believe, gave testimony for the defendant at the Prior trial. Carol

They have been transcribed at various times. In the 1930s they were done as a WPA project, but not published until 1977 by Boyer & Nissenbaum. The three-volume set is now hopelessly out-of-print (you can't even find it used), but is available on-line at: http://etext.virginia.edu/salem/witchcraft/texts/transcripts.html Cheers, Margo Margo Burns, List Owner of the Salem-Witch List at rootsweb.com margo@ogram.org
