Looking for Sainsbury forebears in Taunton and Exeter areas. I am not familiar with parishes etc as have not been researching long. John (Eyre) Sainsbury b 1816 Taunton came to NZ in March 1868 with 4 sons and 1 daughter and second wife, Elizabeth. The children were to his first wife Harriet Ann(ie) Thorn of Bristol. (so I guess Gloucester is another area?) I have been unable to find date of her death. John's father was William Sainsbury b abt. 1791, Taunton and his mother Rebecca Eyre. Would be pleased to hear from anyone researching in those areas. Thanks - Joy
