The new Lyman & Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History features exhibits that tell the story of Springfield's industrialization, including the Indian Motocycle exhibit, Rolls Royce & Stevens-Duryea automobiles, a replica of the original Duryea gas powered automobile, Gee Bee aircraft and much, much more. The Hasbro room has interactive games for kids of all ages. The Genealogy & Local History Library & Archives has the finest collection of published genealogies & local histories in western Mass., including a unique Genealogical Manuscript Collection, Early Springfield Manuscripts Collection, an excellent collection of French-Canadian resources, and an archives that documents 375 years of Springfield's history.
