Hi Everyone, This is a message to all of you who are flying in for the reunion. I thought I should give you some directions to get to the hotel from the airport as the hotel is not near the airport. These directions are for those attendees who are flying into the Hartford/Springfield airport also known as Bradley International or BDL which is located in Windsor Locks, CT. >From the rental car area you would proceed to Route 20 East which is locally called the Bradley Connector. It is a direct connection between the airport and the major local highway which is Route I-91. When you get to I-91 drive NORTH towards Springfield, MA. (You will be getting onto the highway from Route 20 at Exit 40 and for a reference point, Exit 49 will be the last exit in Connecticut before you enter Massachusetts). After you enter Massachusetts, stay on Route 91 and you will see downtown Springfield on your right. You will stay on Route 91 until you get to EXIT 14 which is the entrance to the Mass Turnpike (Route 90). The Mass Turnpike is a toll road, but even though you will get a ticket at the toll booth, there is no charge to travel on the Pike between Springfield and Westfield. Go WEST on the Mass Pike until you get to EXIT 3 in Westfield and get off there. Don’t miss that exit as the next exit is about 1 hour away in Lee Massachusetts!!! When you get off the exit proceed directly across to the Holiday Inn Express. If you are bringing a GPS and want to plug in the hotel address, it is: 39 Southampton Rd. Westfield, MA 01085. If you are traveling and get lost, the hotel number is: 413-564-6900. If you want to call me for directions when you arrive, my cell number is: 860-830-3743. I have been asked by a young woman who is one of the R.E. agents I manage, to have her bridal party prepare for her beach wedding at my home on Saturday. I couldn't say no, and have sadly cancelled my hotel reservations. I'll certainly be with you in spirit! Anxious to hear where and when the next reunion is! Have a fabulous celebration of family!
