Hi Joan, Sorry about that. I keep forgetting that we have members who live in other parts of the world. :-) Kent is a town in Connecticut, USA. Many of the early "towns" were large tracts of land granted for a town. Sort of like a township. As the population grew and disagreements arose, smaller towns were formed. That was what happened when Warren was formed. To confuse things here in the USA, many of those who migrated west, named the towns they formed "out west" with the same name as the town they left.
