According to the obituary he wrote to be read at his funeral he was born Sept 2, 1859 in Delaware Co., IA, son of Jesse Sackett and Elizabeth Michaels. His mother died when he was 4 (1863) and his father died when he was 12 (1871). Anyone have an idea who Jesse Sackett was?
