Liesa: I downloaded the program and tested it out. It does what it says. It puts who, or what ever, as the source of the material in the GED. This would have been nice to have used when compiling my Sackett file from the GEDs that were sent in to be included. Every item in the GED would have been credited to the one who sent it in. So, it is a great tool for those who want to give proper credit for the material they use. On the other hand; it does not guarantee that one will be protected from unscrupulous individuals who do not want to give proper credit for the material. Why not? Newer versions of genealogy programs like FTW and PAF allow you to select a source and delete it. And the programs will remove the citation from every place it is found in the file.
