Chris & All; I don't recall us coming to a firm conclusion. I understood that we were waiting to see if someone could come up with a copy, or transcription of Richard Sackett's will and possibly some of the probate records for Richard's estate. I believe that the probate records would be the most likely source for determining where Josiah Crego/Josiah Crego Sackett fits in. I have found the title for a source that might help in our quest: "Calendar of New York Colonial Manuscripts; Indorsed Land Papers"; Weed, Parsons & Co; 1864, Albany, NY. For the years leading up to his death, Richard Sackett is mentioned on pgs. 68, 70, 74, 75, 78, 120, 166, and 190. Sorry that would be me that was going to look into this and I will get on it today. The holiday's, school and reunion preperations kind of got in the way and I forgot (ops). I will see what we need to do and have it taken care of today. I remember his will was in several places and at home I know I have that email but if anyone remembers where the one we wanted was at that would help since I can start searching during down time at work. If not I will get it when I get home. Thanks Liesa On Wed, 31 Dec 2003 07:58:33 -0800 Thurmon E King <thurmonking@juno.com> wrote: >Chris & All; > >I don't recall us coming to a firm conclusion.
