For the family of 1776-Leonard Sackett; I'm beginning to think that Weygant, and others, have made a mistake concerning the children; Eunice, Henry, and J. Smith/Smith J. Their ages in the 1870 and 1880 census do not fit with the family of Leonard and his wife Ruth in the 1850 census. And the 1870 census has the three listed with a 68 year old Cath. Sackett who would appear to be their mother. I did not find any of the three in the 1850 census pages I transcribed.
