I recently recieved a reply to a letter I sent to descendants of Simon Sackett. I believe he is the Simon Sackett who lived briefly in Rosco Township, Goodhue County, Minnesota and then moved to Waseca County, Minnesota. My corrispondents is the daughter of Herbert Simon Sackett b.1894 d.1995, son of Fred L. Sackett, son of Simon Sackett. Simon Sackett, b.1827 d.1909, was a nurseryman, salesman in New York. He married Elizabeth Bowman and they had five children: Eugene b.1859 d.1879 Ella (Mrs. O. H. Davis) Alice (Mrs. Herbert Harn) Albert D. (wife Eva) Fred L. b.1870 d.1943 Does anyone have any more information on this family?
