Hello Everyone! The interim committee members of The Sackett Family Association wish to give you an update on our progress! Many of you have signed up to be founding members with the association and we thank you for your participation. However, we would be delighted to welcome more founding members. To join now, e-mail Chris Sackett at chris@sackett.org.uk by September 20th. You can still join the association after that date, but without founding member status. The association will have a quarterly newsletter and the first one is scheduled to be sent out in October. The first newsletter will go to all of Sackett-L so that you can all see what it will look like, but all subsequent newsletters will only be e-mailed to those of you who have e-mailed Chris and joined the association! Also, to enable the SACKETT discussion list to be the communications vehicle for TSFA and for all of us to remain a cohesive group in the research of the SACKETT surname, it's imperative that TSFA members are subscribed to SACKETT-L. Just let the list administrator know if you need to be unsubscribed for a short period of time for vacation, illness, etc. Your TSFA membership and SACKETT-L subscription will be held as active until your return.
