Hi Folks! Thanks for the outpouring of memberships to TSFA following Darlene's message about the deadline of 20 September to be a "Founding Member" and her explanation about our plans for the upcoming newsletter to be sent to SACKETT-L subscribers. In response to the questions about dues, I thought I'd include Chris Sackett's words in answering this question, for those here who might have the same question: "The Constitution allows for the possibility of subscription payments but there is no plan to introduce any fees at this time. If there is ever thought to be a need for fees this will go to a vote of the membership. I hope you will wish to join our Association." If there are any other questions or if you'd like a copy of the draft of the proposed Constitution, please do not hesitate to ask any of the TSFA Steering Group members, serving as interim officers: President & Sackett Discussion List Administrator - Nancy Cluff Siders <siders@cableone.net> Vice President & Family Gatherings Coordinator - Liesa Robarge <lrobarge@charter.net> Secretary, Treasurer & Registrar - Chris Sackett <chris@sackett.org.uk> TSFA Web Administrator - Fred Sackett <sackett@gnat.net> Historian - Thurmon King <thurmonking@netscape.net> Newsletter Editor - Darlene Sackett <djsack@juno.com> Members at Large: Patty Sackett Chrisman <pscstc@prodigy.net> Jill Jessen Hernandez <kpitblu@cox.net> Glenna Hertzler <ghertzl@sbcglobal.net> Wendy Sacket <wsacket@cccd.edu> Mary Lou Sackett <mlsackett@team-national.com> Brenda Sias <bsias64@msn.com> Later.Nancy Nancy Cluff Siders Acting TSFA President and List Admin for: CLUFF-L, COUNTRYMAN-L, LETSON-L, MCKAY-ELKENNY-L, SACKETT-L, SIDERS-L To forget one's ancestor is to be a brook without a source, A tree without a root. ~Chiness proverb
