Buel R. Sackett got land in 1868 and there were three Gibsons who also got land CA with a William B. Sackett is in the 1870 census of Buckeye, Yolo Co., California, Buckeye is near Woodland, but with a different wife & birth state Sackett, Buel R., age 36, born Ohio, Farmer , Susan E., age 25, born Missouri, Keeping House , Harry E., age 6, born California , Herbert, age 5, " , Fanny, age 3, " , Louis, age 1, " Williams, Frances, age 22, born Missouri So this would be Susan E. Williams and the mother of the children. In the 1850 census of Hector, Thompkins County, New York bottom of page 389B is Philo Sacket,age 60, born NY, Farmer Gratia Sacket, age 63, born RI Mary V. Sacket, age 24, born NY and on top of page 390A Roxana M. Sacket, age 22, born NY Buel S. Sacket, age 20, born NY Could this Philo be the Philo that was the son of Buell Sackett and Sally Ann Beach and instead of Gratia it was Grace Perkins? I see someone has Philo as son of Buell Sackett & Lydia Buell, Grace Perkins was supposed to have been born in RI. Buell with 2 wives, Sally Ann & Lydia with Lydia being the mother of the children.
