Chris, The previous posts may have been mine regarding WB being involved in court cases in Hartford when it was thought he resided in Newtown, LI. It would have been a fair distance to travel at that time. Actually, not much of a fun trip now, given the traffic congestion we have to deal with. BTW, I also pulled out WB's name from an index of Hartford Land Records, 1639- 1839. 1 purchase in 1639, 1 sale in 1660 and 1 sale in 1666. I have to get these records from the Town Clerk.
