Does anyone know where Joel Bascom SACKETT was in the 1870 census? I've tried both MI and IN for him, but I haven't located him yet. Thanks. Kathy

Looks like he was one of the "undercounts" of 1870. Can find Joel B. and B. Joel in 1850, 1860, 1880 & 1900 but not 1870..searched 3 different indexes. Married to Mary in 1850 & 1860 and Lana A. in 1880 in 1900.
