CHR is the abbreviation used for Christening and BRN is the abbreviation used for Birth. The letter S indicates son and the D indicates daughter. The spelling of the name Sacket is noted in the index of the film as the standard form used for spelling either Sacket or Sackett. I have used the exact spelling found on the micro-film with the exception that I did not use capital letters throughout as was done on the film. The serial numbers are a mystery but may make sense to some one else. Please excuse the typing as that is something I do not do well. My main interest here is Aaron Sacket the son of Benjamin Sacket and Dorothy Buell as they are my ancestors. I have also photocopied some 50 or 60 pages of birth, death and marriage records for the state of Connecticut from micro-film and these records include the marriage of Aaron Sacket mentioned above to Phebe Hart and the births of most of their children. I simply do not have the time to transcribe these records at this time and as with most photocopies done with microfilm scanners I doubt the quality would endure further copying and still be legible.
