Thurmon and All, This is to update my line from where the Sacketts book leaves off. Rosetta Sackett (#1902), daughter of Nathaniel Sackett and Margaret Lazier, born July 4, 1819 in Cornwall, NY, married Albert Chellborg (originally named Nils Albrecht Kjellborg), son of Nils Nicolaus Kjellborg and Gunilla Ingeborg Theel, born April 28, 1812, in Soderkoping, Sweden, degree in Classics from Uppsala University, 1833, commissioned officer in the Swedish army, discharged 1836 from Gotha Artillery Regiment, Goteborg, came to New York from Sweden in 1837, after 6 months and not finding suitable employment went to Texas (not yet a state) where he purchased land. According to his obituary, "After two years of hardship and adventure, he returned to New York." Albert and Rosetta were married April 25, 1842, in NYC, by Rev. Phineas Rice. Albert's date of death is May 17, 1890, in NYC, buried in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. Rosetta died June 18, 1903, in Sea Cliff, Nassau County, NY, buried at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn. Albert and Rosetta apparently lived in Brooklyn from the time of their marriage until about 1853, when they bought a farm in upstate New York at Geneva. Eventually, in 1868 they sold their farm and moved to Manhattan where they opened Chellborg's Restaurant and Bakery. Children of Albert and Rosetta Sackett Chellborg are: Nathaniel S. Chellborg b. April 10, 1934, Sea Cliff, NY, buried Green-Wood Cemetery. Albert Chellborg, Jr. b. Nov. 12, 1849, Brooklyn, NY, d. April 24, 1903, NYC. Married Lida Secor, Oct. 25, 1881. Occupation, continued Chellborg's Bakery. Anson Horton Chellborg b. Oct. 24, 1851, Brooklyn, NY, d. Oct. 31, 1852, Brooklyn, NY, buried at Green-Wood Cemetery. Cornelius Sackett Chellborg (my great-grandfather) b. May 29, 1854, Geneva, Ontario County, NY, d. Mar. 30, 1926, Sea Cliff, NY, buried East Hillside Cemetery, Glen Head, NY, married Alice Louise Lane, b. May 20, 1852, d. Dec. 3, 1928, daughter of John Lane and Mary Isabella Trotter. Married April 12, 1883, St. Paul's Methodist Church, NYC. C. Sackett Chellborg was a coal merchant in NYC, also served as Postmaster at Sea Cliff after his retirement from business and as an elected official for the Town of Oyster Bay, L.I., NY. Oscar Horton Chellborg b. Sept. 3, 1856, Geneva, NY d. Sept 14, 1921, New Rochelle, NY, married Emily Renn, June 28, 1892. Ida Anna Chellborg b. Nov. 17, 1858, Geneva, NY d. August 22, 1944, Sea Cliff, Ny, buried at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. Julia Reader Sackett Chellborg b. April 5, 1861, Geneva, NY d. Sept. 24, 1945, Sea Cliff, NY, buried at Green-Wood Cemetery. Occupation, professor of mathmatics, Hunter College, NYC. Whew! Big family.
